The elevator in my building seems to be malfunctioning. The result? An alarm bell that will.not.shut.off. Unfortunately, we're on the second floor, at the top of the stairwell, and the elevator is (of course) stuck just downstairs.
This is where I say a silent prayer of thanks that I have the back bedroom and a significant hearing problem in one ear.
